Synopsis for the 1st Story

Pezzini turns, sees Yee reanimated, and hugs him, but he has no pulse. He tells her to kill him, seizes, and dies again. Disgusted with the Witchblade, she dumps it in a crematory oven unaware Hugh Selzer from NYPD Internal Affairs is waiting nearby. The next morning, Pezzini returns home in a bad mood. Lisa comes by and invites her to a rock concert, but she refuses. Then, Jake McCarthy stops in and tells her about the microwave murderer’s latest victim. Pezzini snaps at him, storms out, and goes to the gym. As she hits a punching bag, Kenneth Irons appears and holds it in place for her. Pezzini tells him to leave, but he says he understands how she feels. She asks him to coffee, but he declines, gives her his business card, and offers to meet up another time. Afterward, Pezzini is walking down the street when a limousine pulls up, and two men get out to attack her. She kicks one, but the other knocks her out with a stun gun. Later, she wakes up aboard a yacht in New York Harbor. Wright, her kidnappers’ leader, hands her the Witchblade and orders her to put it on. She refuses so he shoots her in the shoulders. As she lay bleeding, the Witchblade enwraps her, heals her, and blasts fire at the kidnappers. Pezzini jumps overboard and swims to Liberty Island with Wright’s men in pursuit. Hearing the Witchblade’s voice in her mind, she suggests they work together as the kidnappers come ashore. It kills one, and the others flee. A helicopter appears overhead, and Ian Nottingham jumps out wielding a sword.
